I have seen some documentaries and read articles that try to explain God and the Bible scientifically. Prove God is real. I think they are all very interesting and love learning new things, facts and discoveries.
\nBut in the end it still comes down to faith. I’m not saying they are doing a bad job. They’re doing great. But in the end, we as humans can’t prove much about this Great, Majestic, Awesome God that we can call ours!<\/p>\n

I can’t physically show Him to you. Pull Him out of the closet where I keep Him in a box. I can’t show you the ark of Noah and prove it’s that, and be a 100% sure. I can’t show you a sneak peak of heaven and watch God creating a human being in the Garden of Eden, out of dirt. I can’t go and do that with you.<\/p>\n

And in a way, I think that’s quite logical. Why should I, a tiny little human being, like a half drop in the ocean, be able to explain God to you?
\nIf He’s really the all knowing, Alpha and Omega, Beginning and End, Awesome God I believe He is… then wouldn’t it be presumptuous of me to think I can actually try and prove He exists in human reasoning, something these eyes of ours can see and these brains can fathom?<\/p>\n

He’s a lot holier and greater than that, a lot more complicated and glorious. ?Although He’s also so easy and plain to understand that a little kid can understand.<\/p>\n

We would like to prove Him with a snap of the fingers. But He wants us to get to know Him. Look for Him in His creation. Read His word. Pray. If we are so diligently, He will meet us there. If we look<\/em> for Him, search<\/em> for Him. Believe<\/em> in Him.<\/p>\n

And our amazing God?<\/p>\n

He’s not to be trifled with. He won’t hide in the closet, waiting till we call Him out at the times that are convenient for us. He won’t move when we snap our fingers or raise our eyebrows.
\nThe way I see it? The simple and yet so beautiful way that I experience it in? I see…<\/p>\n

Our God is there in the breeze
\nIn the rosebud
\nIn the babies’s smile
\nIn a kind word
\nIn the hard days
\nIn tears
\nIn hopelessnes, He gives hope
\nIn the rainbow He gives a promise
\nHe smiles with me when I’m so proud of my beautifully raised bread
\nGrins when I’m surprised that my cake flopped, although I didn’t follow the recipe and replaced sugar with stevia
\nHolds out His hand when I beg for patience with my little guys
\nNudges me to open His word instead of watching a chick flick or finding another book to get lost in.<\/p>\n

It’s so simple, really. He’s there in all the normal and everyday things. The details. But also the big picture, the complicated moments where I really don’t get it. But that’s OK.<\/p>\n

I think He just asks us to put our reasoning aside for a bit. Put our ‘I want to understand all of it’ aside. And be like a child. Simple. Just believing. Not trying to be sophisticated or prove anything. Just believe. Take our Father’s hands.<\/p>\n
